xxtor provides a fast, efficient and adaptable unit-load service available 24- hours-a day, seven days a week. It operates in the Port of Immingham, a four-berth unit-load facility, Exxtor Terminal, from where a wide range of European destinations is served and where in excess of 1,000 unit loads and 500 cars a day are regularly handled.
Exxtor offers both short-term and long-term storage options for vehicles, coupled with a flexible approach to on-site value-added services such as pre-delivery inspection and preparation. Four vessels can be worked simultaneously at Exxtor Terminal, with both lo-lo and ro-ro operations available. There are daily ro-ro sailings to north-west Europe, and regular lo-lo services to Icelandic and Scandinavian ports.
Exxtor offers:

- regular services on North Sea, Scandinavian and deep-sea routes, including daily sailings to Rotterdam and Zeebrugge
- 28 ha for the storage of trailers, containers, tank containers, cars, commercial vehicles chassis and all other types of unit-load cargo
- 24 ha of secure parking available off the dock estate for the storage of cars and commercial vehicles
- 117 electrical connection parts for temperature-controlled units
- over 16,000 sq m of covered warehousing for the transhipment of cargo and the protection of sensitive goods
- a full range of services including warehousing, port agency, vessel husbandry and forwarding. Haulage services are offered through ABP Connect, the value added services division of ABP
- modern handling equipment including 32 tugmasters, 16 heavy-lift fork-lift trucks of up to 42 tonnes' capacity, five Kalmar reach-stackers and a 35-tonne capacity Liebherr gantry crane
