At the Port of Immingham’s Humber International Terminal 2, for example, large volumes of minerals and ores are routinely shipped on deep-sea vessels of up to 100,000 dwt. The terminal is equipped with the most modern coal and mineral grabs and high-speed loading appliances to ensure fast turnarounds and despatch to onward destinations and users.
